Scholarship Recipients
The Friends of Felecia Scholarship Committee has selected recipients to receive the Felecia Patrice Myers Irick Scholarship.
Donors
We are extremely grateful for the generous contributions made by our many financial donors to make this scholarship possible.
As we move forward, we will notify donors of scholarship winners and opportunities to share remembrances of Felecia.
Scholarship Application
The scholarship supports two designated student populations:
The first eligible group includes Black female undergraduate students who are active members in good standing of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and who are enrolled at one of the following institutions of higher learning: the University of South Carolina, including surrounding colleges and universities in the Columbia, South Carolina area; Morgan State University; Coppin State University; Johns Hopkins University; the University of Notre Dame; and Loyola University. Preference is given to applicants who express an interest in pursuing a career in education, while noting that students may apply to pursue any collegiate undergraduate degree.
The second eligible group includes Black female or male graduating seniors from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in Orangeburg, South Carolina, Felecia’s high school alma mater.
